Keep igniters dry and burner caps seated
Boil-overs and cleaning water short out igniters and cause clicking. Dry the area and make sure caps sit flat.
Clean burner ports with a soft brush
Clogged ports cause yellow, uneven flames and ignition trouble. Never use a toothpick that can break off inside.
Check oven temperature with a thermometer
If it is off by more than 15–20 degrees, the sensor is probably drifting and can be replaced inexpensively.
